Put Caprica 6 on trial!!!

Perhaps this has already been discussed, but I don’t think it has…

Why hasn’t Caprica 6 been placed on trial for being THE Cylon responsible for the destruction of the 12 colonies?

Do they even realize that she is the one who seduced Baltar, stole the codes, and did the deed? I could be wrong, but I don’t think Baltar has seen her since she’s been back.

I’m sure they have no idea that she was the reason the Colonial defenses were completely destroyed. I don’t see Roslin commiserating about her unborn child if she knows how many she killed.

Unless she decided to confess to all she has done. Their are just too many copies of 6 for the humans to know who did what.

Besides there is just no time for it. 3 shows to go:mad:

They obviously know she was on Caprica, hence the name.

Well, Tigh certainly knows she was (“I was instrumental in the destruction of humanity”) and Baltar, too - but at this point, what good would that do? Particularly if we think about Lee’s big speech at the end of S.3 about everyone’s guilt. Do we want to go back about who is more guilty than anyone else - and do you go after Caprica, or after Cavil, or after the Six model in general…

Can such a reduced (numbers) society really justify using capital punishment?

Maybe during season 2 or 3 this would have been a good idea; but at this point it would not be wise to stir up more human emotions against the Cylon[z]. The Colonial fleet would not survive without the Baseship.

Also, Caprica Six is not the same person she was back in the miniseries. Need I remind anyone that she killed an infant on Caprica.

That may have been an act of mercy considering what happend next

I agree. And regardless of who knows and whether anyone would be interested in putting her on trial after all this time, who of those people who know of her involvement would be willing to stand up to implicate her? Roslin? Doubt it after their little awkward bonding session. Tigh? No way, no how. Baltar? Without implicating himself? Publically? Nope.

I think season three pretty much put to bed the idea that whatever any of these characters had done in the past that may have contributed to the destruction of the colonies, either directly (Caprica and Baltar) or indirectly (Kat?) is not as important as their current roles and the continued survival of humanity, etc.

Yeah, I agree. It’s too late in the show for a trial for her. Though, as some have said, yes I am sure they know who she is. Also, remember Roslin saw her with Baltar back on Caprica. And Baltar admitted giving secrets to the Cylons inadvertently earlier in 4.0
So at the very least Roslin knows exactly who she is and what she did. Caprica Six has been getting a pretty good ride in this show considering what she’s done.

Accidental reply…sorry. Can’t figure out how to delete.

I’m not suggesting that Caprica 6 will be put on trial, given the fact that there are only three episodes left, and all.

I’m just pointing out that Boomer was thrown in the brig the second she stepped on Galactica and her only crime (as far as the humans are concerned) was shooting Adama …Caprica 6 is traipsing about the ship, living LARGE in the the XO’s sweet Galactapartment, while she’s the Cylon who basically pulled the trigger.

I’m just sayin’…

I accidentally posted this elsewhere, I’m new at this…

I don’t know if it’s just me, but sometimes when Tricia says CYLONz, it has a certain drawl to it… I guess someone has to rewatch all four seasons just to catch her say CYLONz and comment about it… :stuck_out_tongue:

i never really put my finger on that, but now that u mention it… she definately has some disdain or hatered in her voice, @least thats how it sounds??? i dunno

I think the problem with Boomer is that they always thought of her as an individual, whereas the sixes were known to Galacticans as a model before they were known as an individual. It’s easy to focus blame on someone you have always thought of as an individual, as opposed to figuring out where blame starts and end within the communal identity of a model (where does the individual start/end in that?). This also goes with the whole idea of Cavil boxing people - one D’Anna sees the face of the final five, and the entire model is ‘punished’ by being boxed.
