Well gods-damn it!
Let’s hope it was simply the case of out of sight, out of mind. Now that it’s back, soon the gang will be back.
I can’t say I’m surprised. I’ve really been feeling the awkwardness of finally receiving new TV after such a long time without it. It’s hard to remember that shows I watch are actually back.
Its an imaginative, well made interesting show, with good acting and is absolutely not like anything else on TV… its doomed because 18 million people want watch celebrities dancing or people opening briefcases.
What a world
It looks grim. Sadly on of the best shows on television, with i think what maybe the best dialogue in a show may about to be canceled after its initial run of season 2’s initial 13 episodes. I hope some one like HBO or Showtime will pick it up if it does get canceled. This show is just too good to disappear. And if they do make it disappear i hope they can make at least a couple more episodes so they can at least wrap up the story. This one will hurt me more than Firefly because i actually watched this one from Day one and have only missed watching one episode live (last weeks), where as i didn’t get into Firefly until it was on DVD. I wish i was one of the brainless masses who could fall in love with American Idol or Two and a Half men (which is a show that astounds me every time its in the ratings, which is always, because i do not know anyone who watches that show.). That way my favorite shows will never get canceled. Damn my superior brain.
EDIT…I got the info that its on the rocks from Watching with Kristen blog btw

Hi everyone. ABC (A Buncha Cowards) recently cancelled Pushing Daisies. Behind BSG it was my favorite show on TV. I would like to request that anyone who reads this thread please do 2 things for me.
- Email ABC and call them a pack of jerkwads.
- Email Skiffy and ask them to pick up Pushing Daisies.
If for no other reason than we will get a weekly dose of Jim Dale’s narration now that Harry Potter is fini.
Thanks everyone.
It looks like they might be showing the last three episodes this summer on TV. I hope eveyone will watch it.

Pushing Daisies is the most visually stunning television I have ever seen. The writing is so damn clever, it blows me away. I’m glad they’re showing the last three episodes, because they should, but to quote Emerson Cod “now where is that rat’s ass I could give?” Frak ABC for not promoting PD as they should have. They put this masterpiece on TV then sh!t all over it with their poor planning and disregard for the viewers.
Can’t wait to see the last 'sodes, and I hope that by showing them, this boosts DVD sales. Pushing Daisies is a gift that keeps on giving.
Pushing Daisies will continue – not conclude – as a DC Comix 12-episode miniseries. And plans are to leave the door open for more:

One of the unaired episodes was shown here on ITV. So, if you have the means
Just watched the first of the unaired episodes tonight on ABC. Presumably we get the final two the next two weeks. Y’know, for all it’s flaws, I can’t remember being sadder about a series’s cancelation. I guess just because there was nothing else like it on television, let alone broadcast TV. At least Chuck gets a third season.
Has anyone heard anything as to whether or not they’ll try to resurrect this show? It really irked me when they cancelled it. Such a good show.
All I’ve heard is that they intend to continue the story through comic books. I think it would make a great movie.
