Just thought I would fire this out there. Any own a ps3? I am planning to buy one when GTA comes out mainly because the lineup in 2008 has a pretty good amount of games that I want and sadly my 360 doesn’t have the line up of games that I want. A great thing for me and anyone else looking to get one is there are still people on ebay selling the 60 gb version (allows backwards compatibility) unlike the new versions that have no compatibility.
It is tempting to get one for GTA IV, but it’s just a little too pricey at the moment. I’ll wait a little longer. Plus I still have to get a Wii
There are pretty much two games i wil be missing, that i really want; one is Final fantasy and the other is mgs. But those aren’t really enough for me to get a PS3 at its current price. it was the same reason i never got the first XBOX it had halo and knights of the old republic, but most games out there were for the PS2 and with the future of games increasing budgets, means that they have to go multi platform to make money, so how i see it most games in the future will be Available on 360, which i already own so why pay for a new console.(well until the ring of fire rears its ugly head again

but who knows the price is more reasonable for the system now, maybe they can rope me in with a fancy advertising or a metal gear bundle, a PS3 and metal gear, for 399. CND. it would get me thinking .
A few friends have the PS3 - all seem happy with it. Final Fantasy is the system-selling game here for me.
Also, while the Xbox 360 has really impressed with it’s graphics already, I think the PS3 is going to mature well and really have show show-stopping graphics in the hands of the right developers (again, FF

I thought I was going to end up buying a PS3—I have been playing the final fantasy series and Metal gear series since they came out—but the 600 price tag for a machine that doesn’t have any system selling games didn’t make much sense to me. The price has gone down, but there is no way in hell I am spending 400$ on a machine that only has one game I want. Plus, if history repeats, I am about 90% convinced you will see metal gear 4 on the Xbox between 6-8 months after it is released on the PS3.
Final Fantasy 3—or Final Fantasy 6 its called now—was my favorite of the series. In fact, I still play it. I thought 12 was good, but Squaresoft wasted a lot of the potential that existed in the story.
I can understand you lucky if there is only one game you want from it why buy it. But right now there are 3 titles out that I want on it. Resistance, Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted. So far I have a list of 9 games coming out in 08 that I would buy for it.
ooooo Ratchet and Clank was the SOLE reason i doubted the Xbox 360 purchase. the 1st one one of my first games and ive fully compleated 1, 2, and 3
I’ll probably end up getting one eventually, but I am just kind of underwhelmed by Sony right now.
