Prometheus trailer anyone?
Just saw this. There has been much discussion on the relation between this and Alien. From the trailer it definitely looks to be a prequel or a movie in the same universe. There were too many links to Alien to count.
Compare that to this original trailer to Alien and tell me whether or not you notice any other subtle similarities… 
Tks for the trailers. I saw this earlier and I was saying, “geez is this Alien? That’s the wrecked spaceship from the first Alien” Ripley looks so young !! She is so bad ass. Well whatever- I’m definitely going to see it.
Prometheus looks fantastic. You can count on Ridley to deliver the most polished scifi film since Avatar.
Alien: A mining ship discovers a crashed alien space ship.
Prometheus: Earlier, the alien space ship crashes.
He really should have never said “DNA.” It gives too much away. I’m kidding. It’s gonna be great.
That looks like a very Earth like waterfall… on Earth with a ginormous stereotypical saucer overhead. But when?
Wow, this looks really good. Alien is one of those movies that scares the bejeebus out of me, but I still enjoy watching it.

I am so excited to see this movie! I love, love, love the Alien series but the first is my all time favorite ever. I drive my husband nuts talking about characters and plot points.

I’m not fully on that bandwagon but that is one hell of a coincidence for the two ship renders.
I’ve never play Mass Effect so I’ve never seen the Normandy. 
I can see resemblances to both ships…
BIG Prometheus question! The android in it: GOOD android, or BAD android? We’ve had both in many of the Aliens films, so would love to see what people think which direction the android will go. There’s lines I’ve heard the guy say that make me think that he can go either way!
If Ridley Scott is doing it right, you’ll find out about 20-30 minutes before the end of the movie. When the main character(s) need to rely on him the absolute most.
Just home after seeing Prometheus. I felt it was kinda average and I was a touch let down. Maybe because I was expecting more. I’ll maybe give it another go after the DVD release, could be it just caught me in the wrong frame of mind. I’d be interested in hearing other thoughts, there may be something I over looked.
