I hadn’t heard that!
YES!! OMG I love that movie! But I’m a big Hugh Grant fan too.
I love Mcfadyen’s voice. anyway, the reason I ask is the different interpretations of Lydia. what did you think of Jena Malone’s Lydia?
OMGs!! self righteous homeliness—buzz off, Mary!
Yep. The director had to hold up a big red flag for that “walk through the meadow” scene at the end so Matthewwoyld know where to look and what direction to walk in. Amazing.
that is such a great scene. sigh
Lizzy has a tiny little china doll mouth
How cool is my homeboy, the haughty monster-hunter Fitzwilliam Darcy, in the movie?
Mr Collins returns. ugh! did this scene occur in P&P&Z? or was he dead by this point?
She plays a much more demure snort version of Lydia than this actress does. To me, Lydia was always a flaunty, flirtatious chit. Jena rmphasized her silliness more than her flirty nature. Makes you feel like she was taken advantage of instead of being a co-conspirator.
you wouldn’t like him. he’s decent, sweet, chivalrous, and capable of melting the heart of every woman of my acquaintance
you think so?? I thot Jena was sluttier, knew what she was getting into, really “catching” herself a husband
And there’s only a inkling of the skilled zombie-slaying skills. Sorry.
I think it’s because she didn’t show as much cleavage and spent so much time giggling with Kitty. And the silly dancing & pouting. But yes, when she returns to Longbourne, it’s clear that she’s proud of how she ‘caught’ her husband.
“If you’re a good girl for the next ten years…”
Bwaaaahahaha!! Can you imagine? Poor Kitty. NOT!
strippers don’t show as much cleavage as this Lydia
My interests are piqued
HA!! She virtually a ho-bag. LOL!
Mr. Bennet’s dragging out of the letter drives me nuts. Just spit it out already!
Read on.
LOL!!! that’s always annoyed me!!
“poor Kitty will be disappointed at not being a bridesmaid.”
who gives a flying frak! Poor Kitty my sorryBarb. She’s culpable too, silly thing.
