Props to Lucky for calling out one of the best series I’ve ever read - after picking up the first volume and reading about 3 pages, I promptly logged onto Amazon and ordered the next two volumes…and so on…and so on…with money I reeeeally didn’t have to spend. I simply had to have them.
Point being, it’s phenomenal. The writing is witty and sharp and packed with really thought-provoking stuff. Yes it’s not for those with thin hides, but at the same time I’d challenge anyone to read it for what the story presents intellectually and conceptually. Also, I think that the romantic plot line is absolutely beautiful. I want to be just like Tulip when I grow up.
Anyway, I’m new to the forums so none of you will know me…but based on my geek experience in both literature and comics, I’m tellin ya - this is a must read!
