yeah, not only are they hit with the most powerful earth quake ever recorded, it was one of the worst tsunamis as well… hope people were evacuated in time.
All my thoughts are with the people of Japan and all the low lying coastal areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
definitely keep positive thots and prayers for the people of Japan
EDIT - aaaaaand the tsunami is on its way here to LA…so yay (likely won’t be huge tho)

Prayers and thoughts are nice and all, but they don’t actually do anything. Money for Doctors Without Borders will do a lot (in fact infinitely) more to help those affected.
the current Nuclear Power Plant meltdown situation is getting dire. I get the governments and news agency doing the “we don’t want a global panic” vibe. as they keep repeating things are all under wraps, and yet it keeps getting worse…
if it really goes, well… currently the winds are going west… but they say a low pressure is moving in turning the winds to south east direction…
