Do you all want to meet for drinks before/after the screening at the McMenamins bar next to the Bagdad? Or coffee across the street at Powells?
Okay, one of these days we’re all going to end up in the same place at the same time. We don’t drink, so we’d prefer a cup of cocoa if there aren’t any complaints…

Anyone else going tonight and want to have a quick meetup? I was thinking of going to the Oasis Cafe (across the street from the Bagdad) about 7:00pm and then going over to the show about 8:15 - 8:30.
I am beginning to develop a migraine, so I am going to have to miss tonight :(, but Katee Sackhoff is supposed to be at the showing next week. I will be going early (for the comedy) and staying for the show, if anyone else will be there.

We’re planning on being there this week. Thanks for calling me last Friday Furpey, sorry we missed you. I had a long day and we decided to sit that one out. But we’ll be there this coming Friday. 3 of us I think. We’re super excited (well, at least I am) to see Katee There. That’s way cool. I hope it’s not horribly more crowded than normal. Maybe Go in for the comedy?
I am going to be there this Friday and I will get there early enough to make fun of the bad comedy. And it has been bad lately. 
I will get there about 7:00pm. There are a couple of guys from work coming that are going to be there about the same time. Anyone need me to save a seat? I saved 4 prime seats last time (2 weeks ago) but I didn’t have anyone’s number, so I couldn’t let you any of you know. 
I’m thinking about heading to the Bagdad tomorrow around 6pm to get in line, in case it gets crazy. I’ll be willing to let people cut as long as the people around me don’t freak out.
The Laurehurst theater on East Burnside and 27th is going to be showing Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan starting tomorrow (3/13) through the following thursday at 9:45 pm. I’m definitely going to check it out.

We waited in line until after the comedy started and did not get in. Were you able to get a seat???
So it was quite an experience. I made it in, but it was not a whole lot of fun waiting in line, since all the people who paid to get into the comedy event essentially bought their way into a free event. I took a bunch of notes during the q&a, I’m transcribing them now, and will post my results later. 
Can’t wait until next week!

My wife and I are coming this week (so she told me this past Friday.) We’re probably going to be bringing along a friend as well. Smarx told me that she and Furpey are going to the National Meetup, so they won’t be there.
