A friend and I were there last night around 9:30, since I didn’t know how popular this was and there were no seats all. I think we’re decided this might not be worth it for a regular episode. However, I think we will be there for Series finale.
I went to the Bagdad on Friday for BSG for the first time and it was awesome. A huge thank you to smarx for getting seats early. I won’t be there next week, but after that, I’m definitely going! It was so cool to be in a huge room full of people who all gasped and cheered and shouted “So say we all!”
I think we may show up this Friday. My wife just got Laser Eye Surgery, and her eyes are still healing themselves. That’s going to be the determining factor for us. We went the first week, and it was really really awesome. We’re looking forward to being there.
I was also at the showing on Friday. It was so great to see that episode with such a great crowd, including Furpey who as she mentioned, I was able to meet. After the episode Mark Verheiden did a 35 min Q&A. I was able to get an audio recording, you can find that info here in the Mark Verheiden in Portland thread.
At this point, I am planning on going to the showing on Friday night, so I would love to meet any other GWC listeners.
My wife and I will be there tonight!
All of my friends bailed on me, so I am going to miss tonight. 
We need a PDX meetup. I think Furpey can be there next Friday, how about you sircastor and brokencosmos?

I’m definetly down for a meetup. I’ve been at the Bagdad faithfully each Friday, and will be there again this upcoming Friday. Let me know what you all want to do, we can meet up before hand for drinks?

I will be arriving with BF before/during the comedy. I watched it last time and there were a couple of funny people, but the last guy was a jerk and really mad we weren’t laughing at his lame jokes.
I will select alternate seats this time, so no one gets the broken one. 
Poor Furpey’s husband got the bad seat last time.
How will we identify ourselves to each other? Thoughts?
There was comedy? They do comedy? Last week some Vampire show was playing on SciFi before BSG it was lame
They do comedy BEFORE the vampire show. Although, as I mentioned, at least one of the comedians was a comedy vampire. He just sucked all of the fun out of the room.
Comedy is $5.00, but they let me just stay in my seat and wait for BSG, which provided me the opportunity to be inside and out of the cold. So I thought it was a fair trade.
Hope to see you there tonight, Furpey will be there too.
Maybe if we’re lucky they’ll show Dollhouse before BSG instead of the vampire show (after the hopefully more entertaining comedians)!

I don’t think I can make this Friday. Anyone interested in trying to do a meetup on a non BSG night so that we can get together for a drink or something and visit??
