Was just watching the Sci-Fi channel Dune mini again. I had not seen it in a while, and noticed a lot of familiar faces that I had not seen the first few times. For example, the Emperor is played by Giancarlo Giannini, who is Mathis from the Bond movies.

Also, is it just me, or does everyone except for the main characters have:

  1. A silly accent
  2. A silly hat
  3. Both (most of them)

Back to the original topic, I would love to do this series, as this is what got me into Dune. I don’t know how available they are on DVD. Someone with net flicks, check if they are available…

Dune (1984) is available on Instant Watch and DVD on Netflix. The Sci-Fi minis are available on DVD only right now on Netflix.
