“You can’t trust the older generation.”
Oh go bang your tangerines with your hairy knishes, you hippy ape.

Watch the tree trunk that Zaius is tied to. It changes shape.
Harbinger of Death…Starbuck’s already been there…
Taylor’s own feelings and cynicism of man from the beginning of the film…he has gone full circle. Sucks to be right.
On a beach, in the sun, and the makeup; many takes and touch-ups. Movie magic.
“Don’t look for it, Taylor. You may not like what you find.”
Love that line and delivery.
If you think about it, this was one of the first sci-fi films that was popular, entertaining and taught a message. It’s everything I love about sci-fi films.
So do you think he really knew what he’d find? Or was he just assuming that the truth wouldn’t be what Taylor wanted it to be?
Whenever I am at the beach. I do this scene.
And to think that the studio was iffy about the entire concept.
I’m sure the other beachgoers appreciate it.
I think he knows. They live in a secluded, secure area. They are not explorers. I think he knows that beyond the Forbidden Zone there are humans like Taylor. He is worried they are going to invade.
I think now that he knows Taylor a little better, he’s beginning to realize that Taylor isn’t from around here. The humans Taylor will find won’t be like the humans Taylor is familiar with.
Well, it’s been fun watching this again. Catch y’all later.
Depends. Most of the time, it’s strange looks. Sometimes, there are chuckles. I haven’t been to the beach for sometime, though.
Zaius has probably travelled that beach and saw what Taylor saw.
Anyhow…good to finally get in a frak party again.
It is a powerful and shocking ending.
Glad you could join.
How much sunscreen does your horse use?
With the amount of hair on my back, depending on where you’re standing, I am the horse.
