Great 365 Pic!
so are you up for another yr… This yr i want to do better and take more… I didnt do all of 365 and got one posted for 2010 but I have more just need to download and get them posted!

Another shoot in my room. I really need to get some seamless paper. you can always recognize my floor

Floor?

Oh, right. Gotcha.

Hey guys, Total noob question here. I am thoroughly enthralled by all the photos here. As a result i am now taking a photography class (yay for learning!) As a result i am in need of a Dslr camera with at least 6 megapixel resolution. I have looked online (ebay, craig’s list, overstock, etc) and cant find anything, used or new, under $400. I understand that i am purchasing an item of quality, but that is a TON of cash for an, as of yet, unemployed student trying to save up for an international meetup and pay rent etc.
If anyone has any tricks to finding a decent camera used and on the cheap, or has an old dusty one lying around and thinks a extra couple hundred bucks, drop me a line
Thanks all, go go gadget hive mind
thanks again,

Vote team sean!

All i ask out of any photoshoot is one good shot. sometimes I flounder with my settings, or my lighting, and get increasingly frustrated as I go through the roll looking at shot after shot that I botched, and then there’s the relief when I find it.

Argh! Eighties flashback!

Took some pictures on my bike ride on the Peoria Riverfront. You can view them at the link below.

Nice but it’ll never play in…

Oh, wait.

LOL! You funneh. It is nice…until it’s under water.

Well the Illinois River (along with Canadien & Grey geese) has taken over one loop of my riding path now. And the river is still rising from all the rain we’ve had with thunderstorms over the last several days. More on the way tonight and tomorrow. I won’t be able to ride the trail again until it goes down next sometime.

This seems fun! I take something like 400-600 shots a day ( make my living as a photographer), not including the 30-40 I take when I do my daily walk. I don’t process my shots from walking around each day however, as I usually have a lot of client work to do.

That said, here are few from the last batch I processed, please enjoy

Just one more…

Gotta love a f1.2 lens

The newer cameras these days has the fake panoramic mode, where you move your camera around and the software connects the pictures together for you. It’s pretty weird, almost semi fisheye effect.

from my friend’s camera.

my camera has officially died on me… well, maybe died is the wrong word. Let’s just say my camera is having an identity crisis… because now it can only record videos, and refuses to enter photo mode.

I was shooting this…

I dont take a picture a day but i got some awesome shots of a lightning storm tonight.

Not bad. What were you using?

Cannon Rebel XT. I borrowed the work camera to take pictures of the beer i made. Just came in handy when the storm rolled in.
