This is where a rather large river begins in the Vermont Mountains. I saw the Largest Heron I have ever seen here, but it flew off before I could snap this picture.
Two brook trout I caught out of eight, on some remote state land.

Saw 2 huge anvil shaped clouds on a flight out of Dallas headed to Peoria on Monday evening. Got a picture of the first one. It’s not great but not too bad for being takin out an airplane window.
I love pix of natural formations that just look totally 'shopped.
It does kinda look 'shopped, but I’m not that good with PS. It was very surreal looking…and the second one had to be about 100 miles north they were running parallel pointing south. I was thinking…somebody’s not going to have a good evening. Those cummulonimbus (sp?) clouds are the one the heavy thunderstorms and tornadoes come from. I’ve seen them and the wall clouds below from the ground before. Never seen 1, let alone 2, from a plane before.
From another Mad Men themed shoot:

And here’s my contribution to the natural painting theme:
This morning’s sunrise
Great color. Nature knows how to do it right.
Wow such great pictures. This taking a picture a day (or striving to, or just taking pictures) appears to be paying off!
