I been working way to much with work and politics. So the pictures are from a teacher rally.
I said it was my dream camera. My Canon 2R50 is having issues but it needs to be fixed since I really can not afford my dream. My pictures demonstrate how poor Florida schools are.
I will try to be more creative next time.
We got snow! In our little corner of the US, we always have bad weather predicted and then nothing happens (knock on wood). Blizzard? Sun. A hurricane coming our way? Clear skies.

Hey photography fans…I took a picture yesterday that I am very proud of:
As you know for a long time I have advocated not using a flash and sticking with natural light. Although I still am a strong supporter of this approach I have started experimenting not only in using flash in specific situations, but going more and more manual…dialing my exposure and aperature up and down for different effects.
What is happening here is a dialup of exposure, forcing the flash and capturing a moment in broad daylight stopping the motion of the snow being thrown. I think it works really well, but still have a lot more homework to do to get back to my true photography 101 roots.

yea this is my first pet eyes shot. The hard part is for me to get him when he is not running around…

SJD, you are very kind. I am no expert, I simply enjoy the process. If you are soliciting advice here is all that I have to give: Take your camera off of auto-everything and experiment. Take too many pictures. See what happens.
