Ok, just watched the trailer. Looks light and funny. I’ll give it a try.

Really fun film. The relationship between Pegg and Frost is what makes it work. I’m guessing being beaten up by Ripley was a highlight of their careers (it would be for me). Though my favorite scenes were the ones with the Feds–Bateman, Hader and LoTruglio. And it’s fun to spot all the sci-fi references.

Forget paying rent… how many times are you planning to see it in theaters, Phazed?

I have been excited to see Paul for months now. Glad to hear it’s worth the wait!

I loved Paul and all the geeky references. It was so much fun. I’m hoping to find time to see it again.

Ugh, I just canceled my plans to see Paul on Friday so I can squeeze in a much-needed workout. Stupid personal goals interfering with pop culture consumption!

Huge fan of Simon and Nick but the first hour or so of the movie left me a little flat and in some places simply irritated with a character. That said the final third picks up the pace and the action and those fun geeky references come thick and fast and yes you come away having enjoyed yourself:)

I think the first part of the movie threw me off a bit. Nick was playing the straight man in this one instead of Simon. Once I figured that out I was good. It was a bit unexpected but a nice change up. Walked out the the cinema grinning like an idiot.

Ok, Phazed, I have never agreed with you so much before. Paul was excellent.

I actually really liked it from opening credits to closing credits–didn’t feel draggy in the first third to me.

I actually laughed to the point of tears at one point. And the end was perfect.

I was a little worried, going in, that they had given away the best of the movie in the trailers, but it was not the case.

And my mom is totally going to go see it because she has a huge crush on Simon Pegg.

And there’s a Gorn fight scene for 'Talos! I started laughing as soon as it came on the screen and had a hard time trying to stop giggling.

Whut?!? whoosh to the theatre

Loved this movie! We saw it on Saturday. There were several times when I laughed so hard I missed the next part of the movie. (And Jason Bateman is still a hottie.)

The Gorn/Kirk reenactment was one of the parts that made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. It’s funny at first, just situationally, but then they get to the punchline of the scene!

I’ve finally seen Paul. My whooshing powers are obviously…let’s face it…pathetic.

Anyway, I loved the Gorn/Kirk reenactment as well. They decided to avoid adding the music which I think helped the scene. Made it more about their love of geekdom instead of poking fun at it. There is a subtle line, Frost and Pegg ride that line very well. Having just looked over the photos from Comic-Con in the GWC Flickr pool, it was wild when Frost/Pegg waltzed through in the movie. I also just listened to the 'cast of Audra and Chuck, et al. in San Diego.

I really enjoyed the film and all the “in-jokes”.

Three Boobs. OSSIM!

There’s nothing awesome about three boobs! Always go for an even number.

Why does he have a knife!!???

Because TWO boobies are better

Oh… So he is also teaching subtraction.
