With the success of th TOS re-boot and the green lit sequel, do you think Paramount might explore other motion pictures? i.e., What could Ron Moore do with a DS:9 movie?
a RDM re-boot of TNG would be fantastic…
A more real feeling, darker next gen would get my vote.
RDM worked on most of the best episodes of TNG and DS9. I can only imagine how good it would have been if he had have been given a freer hand.
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
There is nothing wrong with any of the Trek francises. They were good and at times great as is.
No more frakkin reboots, please. Hey, I got an idea. Why doesn’t someone come up with their own frakkin universe rather than riding on the coattails of someone else’s idea.

Whoa–many people have many issues with many “Star Treks.” coughVoyagersuckshardcough
RDM really “got” DS9, in particular. I really enjoyed that series a great deal, although the Kira-Odo matchup made my skin crawl for some reason. I simply could never accept it. Kinda like Ezri Dax.
From what I understand… neither did the actors. They liked Odo’s attraction and Kera’s respecting and likeing Odo as a friend. They didn’t want them to get together. I think it was one of the weakest points in ds9 to let them actually get together.
Amazingly, rooster, I agree with you. (hehe) I never could put my finger on it but I think Kira and Odo actually getting together didn’t really seem right. Maybe it was because Kira knew for so long how Odo felt and didn’t return his feelings, that when they finally got together it seemed questionable how she really felt. I don’t know.
I was okay with Ezri Dax. I would have preferred if Jadzia had stayed (if Terry Farrell had stayed on the show) but I think with the situation as it was, they did a great job creating a Dax that reflected Dax-ness but was still an entirely different person. And I’m definitely glad the Ezri-Worf thing didn’t pan out. Yikes!
Btw, I just thought of that episode of DS9 where Worf and Jadzia go to Risa on vacation and Vanessa Williams guest stars as this ex-lover of Dax’s, lol. Poor Worf. No wonder he gets all worked up about controlling the weather with that cult group.
Well a blind Squirl get’s his nut in a snowstorm every once in a while… so I guess I sometimes have to be right! Lol!
I think that the scene where they get together in the middle of the promenade ( while fighting ) was the weakest moment in the shows run… One of the only weak ones IMO. Ezri I liked… but they knew it was the final season… why give this new character so many episodes???
Well Ok… How do you get your “nut” in a snowstorm…? that sounds very painful for the squirl…
I always heard…“even a blind pig will find a truffel” but I like yours to.
Bite your tongue, I always thought Nicole de Boer was really cute.
