OMG! I want GWC Soundtrack!

So, how many people would buy a GWC Soundtrack for a couple $ (undoubtedly digital iTunes download or maybe even CDs in the GWC Store)? Something of some of the amazing GWCer songs, call-ins, commentaries, general audio awesomeness from everybody! Sell it for a couple $ which of course all just goes to the GWC donations funds.

Anybody know of anything particular you’d want on the ‘GWC Highlights #1’?

Let’s get a track list going…
Encoder - “GWC Intro Theme”
Shamus - “Latest Episode: Razor” ( http://galacticwatercooler.com/2007/12/16/gwc-podcast-76/ @ 0:20 - 1:35 )
Barb - “Galactica Tonight” (same http://galacticwatercooler.com/2007/12/16/gwc-podcast-76/ @ 10:26 - 11:23 )

Encoder - “GWC Outro Theme”

Audra - Here in CIC
Audra & Chuck - Listen to Ripley
Audra & Juan - Geordi’s Lament

I’m in!

Gotta have:

“Galactic Watercooler News!” intro tune
“Video Game news!” intro tune

Oh, and anything with Juan and Audra riffing together.

Maybe a ZACH BRAFFFFF! for grins!

-Trey

Sean Scream & Sheep Noise are a must.

Don’t forget the WRock guest stars like Swish & Flick from the Harry Potter arc.

For starters, here’s the link to Audra’s “Here In C.I.C.” from GWC no. 32:

I’ll break down variations on the “Poundy Drums” music, intro, and outtro next time.

Someone’s got to do a GWC remix with all the cool quotes and of course anything that Juan says

You can always check out the Google Docs links in the signature below to lists of all the memorable GWC quotes. Feel free to suggest quotes anytime via PM here on the forum, Reply to @StuffHeardOnGWC on Twitter, or e-mail to stuffheardongwc at yahoo dot com.

Also, new forum polls for quotes are added at least twice every week. Everyone is welcome to vote on your favorite!

And here’s the link to Audra’s “Listen to Ripley” from #180:

Note: As others have noted, if GWC has a flaw, it’s the SEARCH function. If you’re looking for something, an advanced Google search with site:“GalacticWatercooler.com” is your best bet.

Encoderwrote the original intro theme, but the outtro music is by Joe Minadeo, a swell musician whose resume includes awesome instrumental projects include Low in the Sky (who scored this THX trailer). Check out some of his recent albums here. His best stuff, I’d put it up against some of my favorite Trent Reznor compositions.

These were the various opening themes, in this order, if I remember correctly:

  • Original “poundy drums” theme, by Chuck & Audra (?)

  • “Poundy Drums” extended remix by Joe Minadeo, essentially a loop of poundry-drums theme, with extra beat

  • Encoder’s GWC theme [unofficial entitled “Sean’s Theme (The New Hotness)”], :09 second mix.

  • (Current, as of November 2011) Encoder’s GWC theme [unofficial entitled “Sean’s Theme (The New Hotness)”], 2-minute mix.

Outtro music:

  • “Poundy Drums” Joe Minadeo remix, :90/:120 version

  • (Current) Joe Minadeo’s GWC Outtro Theme, an original composition inspired by/interpolating original GWC poundy drums theme.

Juan also did a ton of songs, I don’t remember them all, but I have a bunch saved somewhere.
Capital B, Skeeve Around, Crossroads part 2.
