Hey gang,
I’m trying to remember the name of this old Sci-Fi TV show. It’s about a family that ends up trapped in a parallel dimension. This dimension is controlled by this massive dictatorship, and you can’t go from zone to zone without a special travel crystal. The family ends up with the crystal of a captain from the dictatorship’s military, and are running both from him and to try and find a way home.
Anyone remember this show?

The Hive Mind saves yet another poor lost soul…
Yeah, that’s it. It wasn’t the greatest Sci-Fi ever made, but I liked it. I remember catching it on the Sci-Fi channel back in the early 90’s. I don’t think it had a full season, like 10 episodes or something, then it was pulled.
It’s kind of like Lost in Space meets Sliders (expect that it was made way befroe Sliders, of course).

I watched that show, loved it!!
According to IMDB 13 were made but only 8 were aired between Jan. 1985 and March 1985. 5 episodes were not aired. IMDB also list Otherworld (2009) as in development which all info about it is in IMDBPro which I don’t so it is anyone’s guess if they are remaking it
I’m still trying to figure out how I manged to miss this entirely.
I missed Firefly completely when it first aired. All I can say is thank goodness for the geek hive mind. 
After years of therapy I have came to realize why I have blocked out most of the 80’s. Nothing physical or mental, It was the fashion!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Sound like you had an adverse reaction to parachute pants, day-glow leg warmers, men with shoulder pad and women with lingerie on the outside of there clothes. That sounds like a normal reaction to me.
