Did she know who she was before she died?
I tend to think she didnt since all the others didnt, and her reaction immediately after resurrecting was like Boomers, one of fear and shock.
Anyone knows or thinks otherwise?

I would tend to think she was unaware of her cylon-ness before being poisoned. She had that rude awakening and it seemed like her cylon side clicked on at that point, and everything returned to her at once. Remember, shes the only one of the final five to die and resurrect. The others are gradually regaining their memories. Maybe dieing is the only way as a cylon to fully snap back 100%?
She did retain her memories from before dying too.
I got the same feeling. She was shocked and scared at first. The she was able to start remembering all of the things that Cavil had blocked from her memory in her previous incarnation.
I don’t think she did. She took her first gulp of air, and hysteria took hold of her for a moment, like she was remembering everything that happened… then, she remembered who she was, and calmed herself. Plus, Cavil said that he had messed with the FF’s memories before “reinserting” them back into the Fleet. Ellen apparently got them back after resurrecting.
Precisely. Could this suggest that the inevitable thing that may happen is more of the FF having to die to remember everything? (provided they find a way to once again resurrect)
Considering Ander’s experience this week, it would seem important to “remember everything” and dying seems to be the only way to do so
Yep I agree with you guys.
It was funny that when Cavil decided to reintroduce the five into the human societies and therefore had to build a backstory/personality for each one, decided to make Ellen, probably the most intelligent and sophisticated woman on Erf, this slutty, brainless woman in Caprica.
Is there a way for the to resurrect now? Cavil’s concern over the Hub being destroyed indicated to me that is was true that they could not. The facility that Cavil referred to might be a solution, but do they have to be within a certain physical distance of the lab?
Yep… and what makes it more interesting, is that Kara (who I think is probably part Cylon), didn’t get anything back after resurrecting. Why?
I’m theorizing she was resurrected in this new Colony that John and Ellen talked about… but who’s in control of the Colony? Cavil? Ellen?
There must be… Kara came back, and it had to have been from somewhere, which means there is a Resurrection Colony, and she came from it.
Actually, this might be a clue to the final climactic battle of the show. Cavil wants another Hub, and was willing to kill Ellen to figure it out. When the Adama finds out about the Colony, he’s gonna want to destroy it, probably… this might be how the series ends, in a final clash over the destruction of the Colony, with Adama going down with his ship.
And one more thing: I think Daniel is Head Leoben.
I might be mistaken, but I hat Kara came back before the Hub was destroyed. And I really like the idea of Daniel being Head Leoben. I hadn’t even considered that.
I stand corrected… that’s true… Cavil could have resurrected her (assuming that she’s probably part Cylon), deleted her memories, and then sent her back to the Fleet, like he did with the FF.
But then, why would he? If John resurrected Kara, and put her in a spankin’ new Viper with a homing signal, he did it with the intent that the Fleet find Erf. Which means he knew where they were going all along-- the Fleet didn’t discover Erf, they were lead there by John. The Fleet was never being “chased”. If this is true, why did John want the Fleet to find Erf? He would have already known it was a craaphole. To ambush them? He didn’t. Then what? Some other part of the Plan?
If this is a possibility, I’m now completely confused.
EDIT: Holee Craaap! Re-reading this thread, I had a weird bit of inspiration: Are the Opera House and the Colony somehow connected? Ellen said she needs all 5 FF to create a new Hub-thing, and they’re all right there in the Opera House.
Kara was leading the Poo Ship that found the rebel basestar, that was loaded with Galactica fighters that were used to destroy the Hub. So yes, she came back before the hub was destroyed.
