As a funny side note…I had a moment where I thought…
“Hey, that thread title is a spoiler”
and then I just laughed and laughed and laughed.

Oh, man I was terrible when the PT came out. By the time the movies came out I had already read the novelization of each movie. I’ve been better with BSG, but damn OT can be so tempting sometimes.
My animation teacher told me the novelization had a great breakdown of the QuiGon&ObiWan vs Darth Maul fight… claims Qui-gon was pushing Darth Maul to the forcefield-lined corridor to restrict the sith lord’s movements. Darth Maul’s dual-lightsaber and acrobatics just gave him too much of an advantage in the open spaces of that power room… place thing.
Maybe QuiGon wasn’t such a bad swordsman after all…
tho the hole in his chest says otherwise.
I think you guys are missing the most important question of all. Why is it that when both Obi-wan and Yoda disappear they leave their cloaks behind, but when the appear as force ghosts to Luke they are wearing their cloaks???
You can get burlap sacks in the Jedi ghost world, too?
Duh. The MPAA obviously has a faction of midi-chlorians censoring Jedi Ghosts. They demand that all Ghosts should cover their naughty bits before appearing to anyone.
Simple.
They had cloaks on UNDER their cloaks.
AHA! Jedi Matryoshka!
