Well, it ain’t Caprica City, but I’m going to be in town for a conference next Thursday night through Monday morning and was wondering if there were any GWC’ers out there who might be interested in getting together over some ambrosia and discussing our favorite show.
Armando, I just saw this. I assume you are talking about this weekend (Jan 4th-6th). I may have plans, but if they don’t work out I could be persuaded to take the train in (although I may see if some of the other Philly Crue wants to come with me so I don’t have to travel alone at night.

Pretty much every evening after 5:00. I’m basically there rather informally, just walking the floor and doing some networking for my group (although this year it’s just me there, so it’ll essentially be a kind of debutante scouting mission, if that makes any sense) so the schedule is pretty much up to me. I’m using this trip as much for some battery recharging as for networking, so it’s cool (although I’ll have to double check the conference schedule later today and see if there are any evening events I’ve missed).
Holy craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap Armando. Due to my weekend MBA classes being this weekend…I have only the slimmest of opportunities here. Basically…tomorrow, for maybe an hour. Where will you be in the city? If it is anywhere midtown we are money.

I’ll be staying right in Times Square but I think tonight is out of the question as I’m going on about three hours’ sleep right now, and I fear I’m going to be no fun tonight. Alas, I think we’ll have to leave it for the next time.
Well Armando, while I would love to meet you, I have been sick all week with a miserable head cold :(. I won’t think it would be good for me to be running around New York in the cold, nor do you need to be catching this and taking it home to your little on.
I know we will get together sometime soon, but don’t think it is going to work out this weekend
Well, I’ve been incredibly busy all weekend networking like mad, so I wouldn’t have been able to get together after all. It’ll have to be at another, less frantic time, when I haven’t lost my voice or gotten callouses on my feet from working a room for two days (I’ve decided to do it for just half a day tomorrow then meeting with my lunch and dinner appointments and otherwise doing some shopping and sight seeing. But man, have I had a good weekend so far!)

Like Solai, I did MBA stuff all weekend so I was no good anyway. How far upstate are you? Maybe a later day if we could meet you in NYC or even near Philly. I am planning 1 Mets and 1 Yankee game this summer. Any interest? (That goes for all GWC’ers).
I also may get to DC for a Nationals game in early May if possible. Vs Pittsburgh? I forget. What a cool place to meet people.

That’s our friend Boxy in the picture…he knows he was in the general Times Square area, but not sure exactly where. I propose we find this location, rally the Troops on a specific night, take a group shot, grab a drink (or lunch if that is preferable) and share.
I have scouted up to around 44th street and didn’t see this. I feel like I have seen that storefront before. Anyone else have any luck? I believe that is a Rent or Chicago billboard being reflected in the window.
And in a similair vein I had this thought on my walk to work this morning…we may not have met yet, but we need a logo…any graphic designers in our midst? Here is something I threw together:

Lunch works for me. I believe you mentioned living in CT and the weekends are no good. We could do after work but I never know what time I get out of here from day to day. But I take Yoga me flexible.
