I am planning on going up on Saturday, and maybe take off and go up on Friday. Sunday will depend on if there is still something I want to see.

So how about a Northeast meet-up - I am looking at you CT folks, and Boston Crew as well as the rest of the Philly and NYC crues. Heck even the MD/DC could maybe make it up.

See I knew you would be excited.

I am coming up Saturday for sure, plan to be in the city about 1. Not sure about Sunday yet.

I know I can’t come up on Friday as I am going to be in Canada for work, flying home on Friday evening.

My wife told me, “You have to go. How much longer does Shat have?” I started crying. “C’mon. You’ve never met him. You have to go.” Still crying. “I got you a present.” She revealed a brand new Shatner T-Shirt.

I love that woman.

Rae, we’ll probably be going on Saturday as well. This will be my first con and I soooo want to meet Shatner. I’ll need your help to make that happen.

Topgun, if you’re going, bring your taser. I may need it to calm down.

OK guys and gals - we are just a little over a week and a half from the con, and we should probably start coordinating.

I am only able to go on Saturday, and will be out of town the week before.

So do we know who all is going? I know of me, my sister and Steviespin, and likely 'Talos and Topgun. Anyone else or someone I missed?

I won’t be in the city until 1ish.

So, should I buy tickets from the website or wait until the day of the event? I’m a con n00b and need major help here.

Well it is cheaper to buy now and the lines will be much smaller if you buy from the website. Especially if you are planning on going just on Saturday…

So I would say buy them on line as long as you are sure of which day you are going.

I’m going Saturday. Are there special tickets just to meet Shatner or is it…frightened to say it first come, first serve?

I’ll just put out there that I was able to leap a couple city blocks of people at Otakon, just because I was one of a very few people who wasn’t pre-registered. YMMV. HTH. HAND.

I will look at it tonight, but in many cases you can can pre buy autographs - look under guests and there should be a link there. I know you could for Ioan (who has since cancelled).

Except EJO had cancelled…everybody else on the list is still scheduled to attend.

Well I did find the place to pre order photo ops (they are at 1:10 on Saturday - FYI - I doubt I wll be in the city yet for this), but not autographs. They are $80

I have had good success with the photographer they are using (he is the one that does the photo’s for Dragon*Con - and if you have seen our big group shots they did a lot of work on them, and know the quality). He often also provideds .gif files for a small extra fee.
