I can’t tell the phonetic difference between the first 2, so I went with #1.

First one is New, Second one is more like Noo, but more like Nu in Anubus, the egyption god of the underworld.

Wierd. I say “New” and “Noo” exactly the same. I say “Anubis” sort of like “A-nyeu-bus” though, so I think I see the difference you’re describing.

And in that case, I definitely say it as #1 so I didn’t lie!
