Ninja Ropes

There’s a game on my phone
that i sometimes like to play when i’m alone
go to google, type it in
click the extreme edition
and in moments you’ll begin and you’ll be thinking –
this is dope

You’ve got just one life to fly and dive from place to place
don’t ask why a ninja can survive in outer space
friends say, “hey man can i have a go” and i say, “nope”
simple in it’s game play and yet epic in it’s scope
ninja ropes

I suck at this, BTW. I played the non-extreme edition before Dr. H. aired, and didn’t get ten yards. This one, I can’t get five. (That reverse gravity well has it in for me.)

It’s strangely addictive though. I finally broke 10 yards, but I can’t get past 25 now…

You Have to Burn the Rope, is more my speed.

Hrm. I get .38 yards…probably because I can’t figure out how to do anything besides hit the play button. Ok. Seriously…what the frak am I missing?

Tap the orange circles and the ninja will fling a rope to it. (You have to do that right after hitting the play button, or the ninja is done for.) The circles with the arrows will boost you in that direction if you pass through them. You’ll pick up the idea pretty quick.

Thanks man…I was going crazy. Got up to 25 yards now.

I should have let you flounder…

I actually had figured it out in my head. I started knocking out the variables and came up with the conclusion that was how it worked. It is a little clunky in terms of starting a game, but I am now used to it.

Plus, that’s not your style, letting people flounder!

EDIT: in case it isn’t clear, anyone can play this. They are all available to play online here

Ok…need to report playing Ninja Ropes is even better when you are listening to the song, “Ninja Ropes.” Seriously, you realize they composed the song to match the mood of the game.

They have fixed the high score system on Ninja Ropes…apparently there are many who have done better than 119.7 yards. Astonishing.

I am astounded. I just broke ten the other day…

I got 25 yards. I am very proud.

I love that Nathan is still top of the list.

I just broke twenty. I don’t get how the ‘double back’ thing works.

39 yards… need to work on this…
