In case anyone hasn’t already, check out the calendar for upcoming frak parties for these movies and some of their remakes (or sequel, in the case of 2001).

Great list!

Two favorites of mine which haven’t been mentioned yet are The Thing (1951) and its 1982 reimagining. Both are masterpieces of paranoia.

Maybe we need an arch for the 50s that they are doing now. Then the 60s, and 70s. That should keep us busy for weeks.

I had a great time at the frak party for the Day the Earth Stood Still. The Forbidden Planet should be added to the list.
