Yes I saw this last night. This explains the Torchwood USA rumors that were posted earlier. Should be fun seeing them tape in the more famous sites in America.
And if that doesn’t get your Torchwood fires burning, this news made me squeal like a schoolgirl at a Justin Bieber concert: a DREAM TEAM of sci-fi TV writers including John Shiban (The X-Files) and Jane Espensen (Buffy, Firefly) are writing the new season!!!

I have a horrible feeling that this is going to be Torchwood season 1 all over again, Davies can’t write first episodes to save his life, he just keeps remaking the same one… that said, I do kinda want to see captain Jack walking away from the Statue Of Liberty as it swings wildly at UFO’s… but I’m weird like that.
I love Espensen, but of all the XFiles writers, Shiban is probably one of my least favorite ones (at least when he’s writing solo).
Are they going to have any new (in the regular cast) members in Torchwood? While I like Jack and Gwen (and Rhys!) fine, it’s an awful lot of screentime for only 3 characters to play around with. I hope they get some new regulars into the show.
