It’s the video that comes up when you click on the link:

It was announced this past Tuesday that the series will kick off with a theatrical movie on August 15th, 2008, before it moves on as a half hour series on Cartoon Network and TNT in the fall. And it’s being made in HD, which makes it that much better.

Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christensen have both said in the past week that they’re trying to work it out with LucasFilm so they can do the voices for their characters. It sounds like it’s a matter of logistics, but it would be absolutely wonderful if they could work it out. Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Matt Wood (General Grevious and the battle droids) have already signed on.

cool, more star wars, yayyy

I so excited for this. The original Clone War Volumes were amazing and this looks very impressive. I hope that I can get emotionally attached to the characters but I won’t get my hopes up. I think they are using the voice talent from the first two volumes because they had voices in the preview.

Looks cool, though I can’t help but be annoyed at having to sit through a TV show to see stuff that should’ve been in the prequels in the first place. Oh well! I’m such a SW geek that I’ll sit through these and love 'em, especially since the FX look great.

There’s a mention of an international release on the official site, I half expected this sort of thing to be US only. I’ll look forward to hopefully another midnight show.

The latest Force-Cast podcast revealed that the movie is not just the first three episodes strung together, but rather a completely new story created for the big screen to kick off the series!

I hope they somehow put it on Adult-Swim so that they can just do more than on regular CN

Now, I haven’t seen anything but the trailer, but the episodes I-III seem to work much better animated than as live-action. I’m definitely taking it more seriously this way! Isn’t that weird?

No I don’t think your going in the wrong direction… As an Anime fan, I think Star Wars would have been kick Ass animated… especally if you get the right aninmaters to do it. The lightsaber fight seens would be out of this world… cause I mean… are we really playing with the laws of gravity when we think about Star Wars… and come on… for you Samuri X fans… get some sword fights from there.

Simply put Japanese/Computer Gererated Animation of Star Wars= FRAKIN AWESOME!
