I thought J.D. wasn’t going to return for the 9th season.
So did I. But I think he and Sarah are only committed to 4 or 5 episodes at the beginning. Cox, Kelso and Turk will be there for the whole season.
No, Kelso is going to have guest appearances. As an avid lover of this show, I’m completely against this. Season 8 ended perfectly, all loose ends tied up, and this is just not going to be the same. I understand WHAT theyre doing, its just that…theres really no point to it.
Gotta admit: I’m totally stoked for this. I agree that S8 wrapped up the first incarnation of Scrubs, and I’ll continue to see it that way. Doesn’t bother me in the least that there’ll be more in the same universe. I can always use some more Scrubs.
So i am really not sold on the new direction Scrubs is going in. I really wasn’t wowed by the first two episodes. I think it ended the series perfectly last season. It seems like they are forcing it now. But i will watch a couple more episodes and hope it picks up as we get to know the characters betterlike.
I agree that the last season was a perfect note to end on. But the premiere episodes of #9 had me howling. In a funny way.
I saw a couple reviews bag on the new characters. It’s their first few episodes; of course they’re gonna be sketchy. They’re sure as [shite] better than the scrub replacement Scrubs from last season.
“Eaaaaglllle!!!”
You know what is weird? You know what would make the new Scrubs awesome?
…Get rid of JD.
Or at least, give him a backbone again. They have pushed him so far down the lame road he is almost unwatchable now. Every other character rocks…JD, meh.
I think JD’s only going to be in 4 or six episodes, something like that.

Was last season’s finale the first use of the “eagle” gag, is it a running thing?
Is this like, “After SCRUB*S”?
(ETA a *C that I forgot.)
It’s a running thing.
So I’ve only heard positive reviews…is it worth watching?
Sorta sounds like Scrubs: the Next Generation.
Or Scrubs, CTD.
Which fans know, CTD means circling the drain. Given that it is now being shown at random times I am guessing ABC has given up on it.
