Okay, it occurred to me in the wee hours of the morning, some how, we have to convince Spielberg and Lucas to join forces and launch a Science Fiction Cable channel.
Boot SyFy, (and for Canada Space channel) to the curb, and actually show some dedicated Science Fiction & Fantasy for 24 hours a day!!!
I thought Space was actually living up to its mission (given their budget.) Am I wrong there?

Spielberg and Lucas? In the off hours, they could air movies with the guns replaced by walkie-talkies, with each segment introduced by Jar Jar Binks.
I’m still waiting for AMC to greenlight an original scifi series by RDM. Since TWD was such a ratings success over there, I’m hoping it’s just a matter of time.
I’m still thankful for Space airing the last episodes of Caprica when SyFy didn’t (until months later).
Well originally, I was raised on SiFi when I was living in Bermuda, now that I live in Canada, it is (IMHO) a distant cousin to SiFi. I only turn it on to watch Stargate Universe.
They also had the SLOWEST WEBSITE ever, I haven’t been on for a few years. But in their defense I just went on and it is better…
You know what might work? You know how SyFy does Ani-Monday? How about Science Fiction day of the week too, a nice block of programing where they show all Science Fiction, original and otherwise.
Wait, they did that with Sci-Friday. Nevermind. Yeah, we need a new channel.
