Okay, so GI Joe Resolute…

The first 6 webisodes are up on adultswim.com.

100% awesome. Totaly big budget realistic animai style gi joe.

Cobra is a bad, bad terrorist organization. The body count is impressive so far. That’s right… I said body count. No fighting cobra’s echo terrorists in this one.

Seeing Snake Eyes do real ninja stuff… Totally badass.

I’m impressed so far.

It’s definitely not for kids. It’s GI Joe for the 80’s generation that grew up watching the original cartoon. And it’s grown up, too.

My only complaint is they knocked off one of my favorite baddies before it even began. But it’s a very minor complaint. The speech Cobra Commander gives in episode 4 on why he killed off a major character makes this series totally worth it.Great show!

Damn. I would rather see more movies like this or a modern animated tranformers than a live acton anyday.

It was written by Warren Ellis, who has never even seen the cartoon, or read the comics. He appears to have just looked at it, and worked out the most bad-ass story he could tell.

I’m a huge '80s Joe -vs- Cobra fan. I love the new Resolute cartoon series. The entire series will be playing in one chunk Sat. night into Sun. (midnight) on adult swim (I already have my DVR set). I love the edginess to the cartoon. I know what you mean about that certain someone and CC’s speech later on. It’s pretty much how I played with the toy line when I was a kid. This series is totally badass.
