Neil Gaiman in Cleveland

Dagnabbit! I saw his tweet on twitter, and forgot to check into it until now. I figured it was some book signing or charity event with tickets I just wouldn’t be able to afford! But no!

Neil Gaiman will be speaking in Cleveland as a part of the Cleveland Public Library’s Writers and Readers Series on Sunday October 4 at 2pm… FOR FREE!

I must be there!

Here’s a linky to the info:

How can I NOT be there?

Any one else in the area interested?

Darn it all! I have to work! I so would have made the trip!

Neil Gaiman is the greatest. Better chance of running into him at another Jonathan Coutlon concert than him coming to NE Iowa.

Apollymy and I couldn’t even get into the building. They were turning people away at the entrance to the parking lot.

Wow. I hope it wasn’t too cold, at least.

Here’s my report from it: http://tinyurl.com/ye7wp5s

Like over 1000 people showed up, shattering the record for Cleveland Public Library events. And that was opposite a Browns a game. But, at the risk of perpetuating a stereotype, I don’t think there’s much crossover.

But can you imagine if it weren’t, and there’d been tailgaters? “FRAKKKIN’ GAAAIMAAAN!!!”

Dude. The Browns have sucked since before we stole them. And won a Super Bowl.

I love Drew Carry, but DAMN!
