I just got a laptop and it only has a trial 60 day version of Microsoft Office. I am looking for a heavily discounted version of Office 2007 or 2003.
Heavily discounted would be like free but I would not want to deny Bill Gates of his cash. Cough.

You should give Open Office a try. It is a free open source program that will meet most users needs.
Yup. If you’re on a Mac, NeoOffice will probably feel more comfortable (it’s the same under the hood.)
Yes, I used NeoOffice for a while before I ponied up and got Office. It is quite functional, and even better at using multiple file types (I still need it to convert old WordPerfect files). I is slightly more buggy than Office and its version of Powerpoint is slightly less intuitive. For basic home an school use it is quite functional…
OO is good for casual use but professionally it can kinda crap out.
