Most Powerful Federation Enemy

Why does that look familiar? Did you post it earlier?

Yeah the founders weren’t beaten. Thier war effort was defeated. There is a difference. At the end of the war… billions of federation and Klingon and Cardassians dead in the alpha quadrant. 1000’s of Jem hadar and Vorta artificial clones lost. ( big whoop!) Gamma quadrant : untouched.

The forward army that was cut off from supply and reinforcements nearly defeated the combined Klingon and Federation fleets (with the help of Cardasians, a third world country) with very minimal loss in comparison, until the Romulans joined the fight. I am saying the numbers might bhave been there… but the allies were loseing civilians and natural living things. Domminion was looseing Cardis ( who cares!) and Clones. If you count that, and I quote “I am [Rank] [Name], and I am dead. As of this moment, we are all dead. We go into battle to reclaim our lives. This, we do gladly, for we are Jem’Hadar. Remember - victory is life.” Then you see it was really a one sided war.

If the Dominion were as close as Cardasia… game over for the entire alpha quadrant.

Also a side conversation… jem hadar ships crashing into borg cubes is something that Borg can’t adapt to, sorry… If Voyager can beat borg… suicide Jem hadar destroy them!

Yes he did post it before, but he has done a lot of work to the art. It looks a lot nicer than the original drawing, well done ThotFullGuy!

if the Borg assimilated some founders, now that’d be awesome…

Yup, it was in that “What’s Your Favorite FASA star trek ship” thread (?) or something like that.

LOL. Actually, all I did that was I noticed it would look better if it wasn’t a white background, so I simply filled the back with black to make it space-like.

Species 8472, apparently…

Dominion rules a whole QUADRANT!

Damn, that’s a good argument. I was ready with Borg and the slaughter of Wolf 359 (which is pretty erie in Star Trek Online), but billions dead to achieve only a stalemate is impressive.

Not sure about the Jem’Hadar vs. Borg, though. Just one live capture by the Borg would quickly turn the tide there. Shrouded Borg, anyone?

I would say, Q : for his god-like powers (hey, he pushed the Voyager to the delta quadrant with a flick of his fingers!)

but he’s more antagonistic than an enemy, really…

Years of getting into fights in middle school has left me wary, I cannot tell if this is a trap.

I have to go with the Probe thingy from Star Trek IV.

I don’t know if it’s an enemy of the Federation so much as it’s an enemy of, say, the Japanese.

Huh? Why?

I think the Jem Hadar and the Dominion were more of a threat than the Borg, in the long run. After all that I’ve seen of Picard and the rest dealing with the Borg, we seemed to get a handle on them and have them figured out. The only two real reasons the Alpha Quadrant defeated the Dominion was that the Founders got a disease and the only access point to the Alpha Quadrant was the wormhole. Otherwise, they would have been frakking over run. Even the Romulan and Klingon cloaking devices weren’t much use against the Jem Hadar.

Because of their whaling industry.

It’s kind of a reach-around answer, but I follow it. But then again, without the Japanese we wouldn’t have had Sulu to save the Kittomer accords in Star Trek VI

I’m not 100% sure what this means, but my wife suggests that perhaps you come over for a glass of wine and further discussion.

Lol

I just meant it was an awkward way of getting there, nothing more. shakes head vigorously

Ah! Well, then I’ll go ahead and turn the hottub back down and cancel the sitter.

It would have been a long wait anyways. I don’t have a flight out of china for the next week and a half, and I’d still be too broke to hop around the country for months afterwards.

Plus I never really got on with hot tubs.

Oh my, look at where the thread’s gone.
