More Jericho... maybe???

According to this article http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/07/business/media/07direct.html?ref=media Jericho could be coming back again, but in a different way.

I am thinking shadow puppet theatre.

I can’t believe they canceled Jericho.

I’ve only seen bits and pieces until this past couple of weeks when my wife and I rented the first season from Blockbuster Online. We were instantly hooked and just finished the 1st season Friday night.

I would say it’s probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite show.

Maybe this time they will make the characters tolerable.

Wanted to airlock the whole town within the first half of the first episode I saw.

Then the shows intended cleverness worked on you as well. It was written to lead you into a false sense of things and then reveal that things were not so much that way. This was really true with the characters.

Maybe one of the most subversive shows on tv of these past few years. I would be happy to see some new episodes. If not, the final episode served as a good conclusion to the main story arc.

So, the intended cleverness was to make me stop watching the show because of the perceived lack of a decent job at casting and writing? I think we see why it is no longer on the air.

but doubt that I’d get the SO to let Comcast on the place. We used to have fam’ involved installing Comcast and apparently the company blows.

No, of course not. I have to assume though that you must have watched only the pilot, or maybe a few early episodes. Like any show, the first couple of episodes are vulnerable to extra critiquing as the actors havent quite gottent their characters on their feet yet. But Ive never spoken to anyone who has watched the first season and walked away saying that this is not one of the most amazing and important shows of all time.

There were a few issues in the beginning, but the last two episodes of the first season were amazing in my opinon.

I think the show had some flaws, but overall I really enjoyed it and would LOVE to see more. It was so disappointing to only get 7 episodes for S2. I wonder how many other great shows won’t be seen due to all the drama from the writers’ strike. I did support the strike, but if you had a project in the pipeline this year, or a new series, it was tough, so few shows made it out of the strike alive.

i loved that show the best part to me is the second season when they where on the jet and he said Texas is a sovereign nation that was just crazy…

Hi;
I deliberately have not read any of these Jericho posts because I just finished season one of the series. I do not get to watch much television at all but wil say that next to Battlestar, this has become my next favorite series.
I hope it finds a home and I am looking forward to watching was was made of season 2.
Thanks for reading
