Found a great little hidden gem in the Movie, monster. It’s a really great monster movie. Its hard to describe cause the monsters effects were kind of lame, and the story really isn’t about them at all. But i just loved it.
Anyone else see it

Haven’t seen it yet, but want to. Creative Screenwriting had an interesting Q&A w/the actors. Seems like making the film was an amazing guerrilla style adventure.
Hmm, the logo makes me thing big bugs…have to pass on big bugs. shiver
It’s high on my Netflix queue right now. Can’t wait!
Don’t worry no giant bugs, its not really a scary monster movie. It’s a thoughtful realistic approach to the genre.
Exactly.
Loved it. Guerrilla style film-making capturing some great performances within a simple plot structure…
Similar to Cloverfield in some respects, but with more sympathetic characters.
Missed the cyclic framing sequence until it was pointed out in the commentary. Changes the whole tone of the ending.
Notes:
-the 2 leads ended up marrying each other.
-the director’s working on a Godzilla film, and then a “Robot Star Wars”.
It’s available on Netflix Instant, last time I checked. Definitely worth a watch.
Watched this a few months ago and enjoyed it. Pay attention to the beginning, I did not the first time. It wasn’t until I watched it again when my brain made the connection… I’m slow sometimes.
