Cloverfield Monster no doubt.
He could bite the head off of Kong. He was still bigger than Godzilla. Also Clovey has the attack Parasites. The Rancor would be a joke to him.
A Kraken might give him some trouble. But Clovey can go on land and water so he is a double threat. Also Balrog fell to a sword. Clovey took artillery fire without blinking
But for reference…
much as I am not the boggest fan of the movie–Cloverfield monster would take them all out without breaking much of a sweat. Hell just the Cloverfield babies would mess up their day.

Cloverfield is pretty formidable, but that trailer for Clash of the Titans has the Kraken looking like he might be the one.
ooo, damn g, I dunno. The Balrog is just so devestating. Fire whip evil constitution and that whole breathing fire death thing. While the Cloverfield monster is scary big the bal is big “O” Old Evil…(not to be confused with Big O the giant robot gaurdian btw) I think the Balrog would chew him up and spit CF out.
I hear what you are saying homie, but I think the new Kraken from Clash of the Titans has everyone beat due to its sheer size. Gui-Gon yells, “Release the Kraken!” in the most recent trailer makes and this beats appears that is the size of a montain! The Balrog would be whipping the Kracken’s little toe over and over and the Kracken wouldn’t even notice.
I went with Kraken based solely on the old version. I’m sure the new one is even more upscaled.
After seeing the trailer, I am going to have to go with the Kraken.

I’m on the fence too. I know who wouldn’t win (Rancor? Please.). But, I’m torn between CF, new kraken and Balrog.
I kinda wanna wait until I see the new kraken in full action. And, I don’t mean in the inevitable tentacle hentai that will release following the movie…
Clovey was just a baby though (according to the producers), it was lost and scared… Now its Mother would be another matter!
Balrog would make a good fight of it, until he tripped over something.
For sentimentality, I just had to go with King Kong. He’d find a way to make up for the size difference with the other monsters…

i think the new kraken would snap cloverfield like he was at an all-you-can-eat crab leg bar and swallow balrog like a hot tamale.
I think these guys are safer near land, but if any swim out a bit, the Sando aqua monster from Phantom Menace might take a few bites Jaws style.
Wow that Clash of the Titans trailer looked wicked! I already voted Balrog, but now that Ive seen the kraken (commanded by Liam Neeson no less), I think I may have made a hasty decision.
