Playstation Official Magazine UK has given Metal Gear Solid 4 a 10 out of 10 review! As I read it I was just squirming around in my chair in anticipation of playing this game. I am beyond excited and these last days of waiting are driving me crazy. I think Ive decided to forgo trying to get one of the gun metal bundles as Im sure they will be nearly impossible to find. Gamestop plans to open at midnight, so I have a plan with a few friends to show up at midnight and get our bundles and our reserved limited edition copies of the game.

There has become no reason for me to buy the grey one now. Smaller Harddrive, 40 gig model usually doesn’t have back compatibility, and its 100 dollars to much.
Yeah I have decided against the grey one as well. For the reasons you stated above and because they are going to be almost impossible to get ahold of.
So after scamming 4 free copies of the saga vol. 2 dvd previously from different gamestop stores, friday we went back in to pay off the pre-order for the limited edition of the game and we scammed yet another free copy of the vo2. dvd as well as the art book (which I thought we werent even getting up until now). The guy running the store has been kind of a jerk to deal with the last few times ive been in about this whole thing, and he kept up with his reputation as he tried to hide the art book and dvd’s from us, it was only because of his other employee that we were able to get a glance of the book and dvd and then he pretty much had to give them to us. This was not before he tried to shoow his employee into putting them away back into the drawer so we wouldnt see them.
So now we are just planning out our final midnight release tactic as to when and where we will be showing up to wait. Walmart is giving a free $100 gift card for the purchase of the MGS4 PS3 bundle. That is tempting but I dont want to risk not going to gamestop and missing out on getting one all together. So how’d everyone make out? I waited in front of my gamestop for 7 hours last night just to be sure I was first in line. They ended up having only 4 bundles and i got the first one. I also grabbed a 2nd one from Walmart this moring to sell on ebay, and that came with the $100 gift card which I used on a 2nd controller and GTAIV.
The game is very good. My only complaint was that it was too easy. I didn’t die until the last level, at the beginning of it. Two of the beast bosses I killed without even getting hit once. However, I am now playing through again with only non lethal weapons, and it is quite a bit harder doing it that way. After that, like the rest of the MGS games, I am going to play through for the Big Boss ranking.

Anyone get the big boss rank yet? I came close to getting the Fox rank, but I accidently killed one person in the last level. It was very sad.
I’ve gotten Fox and Hound but I no longer have the game nor had the patience when I did to get the Big Boss rank. Instead I played MGO which is siiiiiiick
Whew. Just got the Foxhound rating. It was a challenge.
well i took the plung here bought a ps3 with MGS4 and GTA4.
is it weird the right now i’m playing MSG for ps1 right now , cause i haven’t been able to since my ps2- went all kinds of Xbox.
still i’m sure the other games will get there but right now i needs me some of the original well not the original but close enough for me.
