They should use her in the next Trek movies. d:
omg why did I watch that voice cast video…NOW IT MAKES ME WANT THE GAME EVEN MORE!!!
on second thought…it IS officially 0 degrees out here right now…I’m going to go lay in a snow bank, somebody thaw me out a couple days before release!
Be careful that the kids don’t play with your head like they did Ted Williams.
Mass Effect 2 producer announced if you played through ME1 as one class, you’ll be able to switch to another or stay the same class at the beginning of ME2.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/masseffect2workingtitle/video/6243768#toggle_video (5:15 in the video)
So, everyone who plans on playing through ME1 as a class you’d rather not play, you can focus more on the decisions and plots than the class structure.
Im sure plenty of people will be glad for that revelation.
Some other things about ME2: You’ll get bonuses for bringing a character that’s 40-49, 50-59, and 60. You can change your appearence(Which is awesome cause I love the general look of Shep(You know, the one I made. The real one) but his face is…it’s just a bit off, wanna modify it just a little bit. Spend like. 4 hours making it perfect. LOL)
The change of appearance will be welcome. ME1’s character editor didnt let you turn the face. Which is a real pain when you make everything ‘perfect’ only to find out you look like a skeleton, or your nose looks more like a beak.
What kind of bonuses do you get for the various level ranges? Wonder if its worth taking one of my playthroughs to 60 ( I think I landed somewhere between 45-55)
That’s odd, I could turn the face. I played on a PC. You had to left click (or right, hmm) and hold and pull the face sideways or up or down. Trying to get the face back to the middle was a pain though. It wasn’t a complete sideways view but enough to ensure you weren’t some buck toothed, chinless wonder.
I could turn the face as well.
I will be an Infiltrator again now that I understand my mistake and will just choose Assault Rifle, though playing Soldier was great because I loved using any weapon at any time.
But those tech powers are to die for.
Wow, I cant believe I didnt figure out how to turn it! I remember trying and it not doing anything. I need to reinstall, lol.
I was an infiltrator as well. Ran on pistol the first run thorough and but found assault rifles a much better all around weapon. The sniper rifle has limited uses, but when it can be used – wow! I dropped a lot of points into sniper and had a blast.
First minutes of ME2. Shows off the ship, some crew, and bits of an opening level. Not the very beginning of the game, but very close. The video is under 16 minutes. Some light spoilers too I’m guessing.
Dunno what the bonuses are, they’re keeping that under wraps thus far
I’ve gotten to that point in life where the new stuff is an affront against nature. That’s just scary good.
Im going to play the frak out of this game! I cant wait!
ok I’ve got a question here now
I’ve been trying to stay away from a lot of ME2 previews but I finally watched this one
…why exactly is Sheppard working with Cerberus now!!! I read both the books and all the info from the last game points to the fact these aren’t nice guys…I could see maybe Renegade Sheppard working with them but why would good Sheppard be working with them and have a direct comm with the illusive man?
A greater evil perhaps. The enemy of my enemy etc.
Anyway, I’ve pre-ordered my copy. Just like Dragon Age, each retailer is offering a slightly different version. Very annoying. Still, I can’t wait.
It’s my understanding that the only difference is you get armor and a weapon from Gamestop and you get Infernus armor from everyone else.
