Oh. My. God. That is so true! Although the DQ here does a Reece’s Pieces blizzard and I kinda prefer that.
I never Realized that DQ makes anything other then a peanut buster parfait.
In my own (admittedly bizarre ) mind, The Reese company makes Cups, thats it. and if they came out of a freezer, then so much the better. Reese’s Pieces are something small children use to lure Aliens to their house.
M&M’s are the only candy coated,small round candy… ( of course I don’t eat any that have W’s on them, just the ones with M’s. 
What about the E’s and the 3’s?

That’s bloody brilliant! There’s also Cardullo’s in Harvard Square that imports Smarties, European chocolate and other yummies. I try not to go there too much though or my wallet gets pounded!
As a connoisseur of M&Ms I can’t believe that Reese’s is winning! I mean with M&Ms you get plain, peanut (both in milk or dark chocolate), crispy, peanut butter, almond (my personal favorite), white chocolate (limited edition), cherry (limited edition, strawberried peanut butter, mint, coconut (limited edition) and several special premium flavors including Triple chocolate (milk, white and dark).
With Reese’s all you get is Frakkin peanut butter!
I do love the mint M&Ms but I hate that a) they’re only available at Christmas and b) most stores don’t carry them.
But plain M&Ms? meh. Though I do put them on birthday cakes for the triple chocolate punch.

I tried Reese’s Pieces once…once!
Ever since I was a little kid I’ve been munchin peanut m&m’s.
Well I don’t know your wife’s tastes obviously, but I know few things say “I love you” to me more than bars of imported dark chocolate!
And to keep on the original topic, if I had to choose between Reeses and M&Ms, I’d probably go with Reese’s Pieces.
I love that fake peanut butter sauce they put in Reese’s Pieces. Num.
Both M&M’s and Kisses are so plain and uninteresting that they have to trot out tons of alternate flavors to make people care.
But pumpkin Kisses (out right now) are incredible.
M&Ms, aka: “Happy Pills”, are in my top ten comfort foods. I enjoy getting one of each color out of the bag, saving them till the end, then making a wish as I eat them at once.
But damn, cold Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are awesome too.
Gotta go with M&Ms. In fact the wife dug me to see ‘The Proposal,’ a few weeks back, and like always I needed my sweets fix. So I grabbed the ridiculously over priced bulk candy bag from the theater and filled it with some M&Ms, Reeses Pieces and Hot Tamales. Since I was really not into the flick (although there were some funny parts). I was having a death-matches of my own. I was taking random M&Ms, and Reeses and smashed them together, in a gladiator style competition to see who had the superior armor…umm…shell! 
Time and time again the M&Ms proved they had the superior coating, and on a couple of occasions 1 M&M could with stand multiple smashes from more then a few Reeses. The M&Ms also smashed the sides of the Hot Tamales with ease, although they could not withstand a direct hit from the Tamales, when the Tamales were used in torpedo fashion. But since the Tamales are in another league of their own (they need to be smashed into the likes of Mike and Ike, or DOTS). The M&Ms proved they were the superior candy, in both coating and taste, when compared to the peanut buttery goodness of the inferior coated Reeses!
While i enjoy the merrits of both candied snacks i tend to lean towards the M&M’s. I can only eat so many of Reese’e Pieces before i start to feel ill. But I can eat many more M&M’s. Also i love M&M’s with popcorn. Plus E.T. liked to eat Reese’s and he was a bit of a douche. I’m just sayin’
