LotR: The Two Towers 12/6 @ 8 PM ET

Sunday, 6 December 2009
8 PM Eastern - 5 PM Pacific
(Calculate Time Zone)

“He is drawing all evil to him.”

I see the cover says special edition, but I want to confirm that’s the version for the frak.

What? You mean there’s another version?

(yes, that’s the right version.)

All right! I’m here for this thing! Is it being moderated/hosted, or how’s it working?

Wake up Duncy! Tonight’s the fifth! Now go home and pretend this post never occured.

We all start the movie at 15 minutes after the posted start time (per tradition) then post as we watch.

So noted.

Hey, I was just checking. I don’t expect all geeks to discount non-extended editions (T2, Aliens, The Abyss, etc. [funny how these are all Cameron movies]) like I do.

I might watch Fellowship beforehand. Was that Frak last week?

I think it’s a given that we’re all those kinds of geeks.

Yes, and RotK is next week.

And the week after that, Badger gives his musical rendition of the Silmarilliion…

I’d never inflict my musical rendition of anything on anyone, not even an orc. :stuck_out_tongue:

Will he be using a Vulcan lute?

I’m starting Fellowship (extended edition) at 4pm Eastern (1pm Pacific), and I’ll be on http://forum.galacticwatercooler.com/showthread.php?t=9123&page=19 if anyone is interested.

Whee for 8 hrs of hobbitses!

Gonna start watching Fellowship in 13 minutes if anyone wants to join.

Finishing up Fellowship. How is the disc change handled? 5-10 minute intermission for ppl to catch up or restroom?

Traditionally, we’ve taken a break between discs, usually about 10-15 minutes long.

K. Fellowship movie ended 15 minutes ago. I don’t remember the credits going on this long afterwards. d:

Just ended. d:

There were like 50 million people that worked on Lord of the Rings, they deserve some credit space

Hi all, I’m here.

Starting now.

Hit play, not watching on dvds so if you could announce the disc break that’s be just peachy keen
