No, thank the gods ;), because this time I was actually in a chair. But the same chair for 4 hrs, with only 1 break. Time to get up and move, I think!
When a White Wizard has a black staff you may have your first clue.
May I suggest “Watchmen”?
Plus he lives in a gigantic dark tower with gaping holes in the lawn and furnaces the size of RVs
Sauron didn’t send anyone out to find the ring, Saurumon did to try to get the ring for himself.
I don’t think he did trust Saurumon, he was just using him to build him an army to crush all other Middle Earth inhabitants.
Not that he’s much of a threat to Sauron’s power. Even with the Ring, he’s just a pawn. But his role in the operation could easily have been scaled back.
Yep. That’s the plan.
Now lets enjoy the 23 min of fan club members that they just decided to put in for Gods knows what reason.
He’s like a third party candidate: He’s not going to win, but he can affect the outcome in the end.
Anybody know anybody on there?
The MST3K Writers had complained about movies that were done after the 70’s becuse the end credits would get REALLY long and they would have to show all of them and they started running out of gags.
Wait, was that Bob from accounting as Orc 7?
I’d say it’s open to debate whether good or evil actually won in that case.
But at Sauron’s bidding, no? Even Sarumon had to realize that the Ring’s power was too great for him to ever control.
I don’t think he did trust Saurumon, he was just using him to build him an army to crush all other Middle Earth inhabitants.
Which would have been an excellent plan, AFTER he got the Ring back!
Probably just to cripple IMDb.
Perhaps there was a membership fee and this was part of the deal. I can’t imagine them (New Line) spending their own money to add it. I am sure it cost a lot of $$$$$$.
Clerks 2 had the first 10,000 friends of their MySpace page in the credits. I’m sure this was something similar.
Did you just say Clerks 2 rewatch, lets go.
I don’t think sending someone after the ring was commanded by Sauron. Saurumon was making a power grab attempt…IIRC from the book. I would have thought he would know that it was too great for him but guess he had to try anyway.
There was a membership fee to join the official fan club. And PJ promised to put everyone who joined before the film was finished into the credits.
I don’t think my posterior could take it! Um, whut?
let’s just keep our fingers crossed for a View Askew arc sometime soon
That would rock out loud!
