Simple question: How does one link to a specific part of a page? For example, say you wanted to set a link sends the viewer directly to a sub-topic 1/3 of the way down a Wikipedia page. Thanks!
There has to be an anchor at that part of a page. With WikiP, there usually is.
Say you’re looking at the WikiP page for “Hammer.” Normally there’s a bunch of links at the top listing subtopics (e.g., “Nails,” “Felicia Day,” etc.) Click one of those and you’ll have a URL that looks like “en.wikipedia.com/hammer#feliciaday” That’s the one you want. You can only link to the start of the subsection, though.
