I’ve never seen the original series, and please no one spoil me because of the U.K. show

but this one is just my cup of tea. kind of like the very best parts of journeyman, (which in its own right was great) add a cop procedural aspect and great comparison from the 70’s to present day. all blended together with great music.

and that weird very cool robot.

I have seen the British show and enjoy both. Since I am old enough to remember the 70’s it is funny but familiar. The pilot was just like the British show but after that the theme is the same but not the stories. I like when he slips back and forth in time. The presidential speech from that time to Bush was fantastic. I mean it was the same thing.
