Good news- BrettAZ’s flight to France is rescheduled- same day, earlier and now through Houston. Now extra costs either. Thanks British Airways group travel person!
I’m sorry Leah, that sucks. (I remember when spouse told me that he went running after the goons that stole his cell phone… terrifying). It’s good to know that the guy’s in jail and that your husband is OK.

I hailed on my truck last night. Thankfully there are no dents - it must have been small hail. I was in bed sleeping when it started and by the time I realized what was going on, it stopped. The weather in South Dakota has been insane with tornado’s the past 3 days and today is another day of tornado warnings. I don’t remember it being quite this stormy for a long time. And the tornadoes were within 2 hours of my city so I’m getting a tad nervous. Hopefully all storms will stay away until (or be done by) the Chuck finale tonight!
Ugh! I’m glad they caught the guy, but sorry your husband’s hurt, however slightly.
My refrigerator appears to have died. I gotta go get mes a new one. Just what i want to do, go even deeper in debt

Oh man, that sucks. Sounds much like the situation the Mrs. has been dealing with at her on-again-off-again temp gig this month. She is told to show up for assignments, then promptly sits at a desk and plays games on her phone most of the day or is told to go home early (thus cutting her pay). Last time she came home on Friday and within an hour the office had called to let her know the project was cancelled and that she need not come in on Monday.
Douchebags. They’re everywhere. Frak 'em.
When I got home the Ex had been over and taken all “his” stuff, even the stuff that was mine, including, oddly, some of my clothes (?). Really nothing I needed any more, so I’m OK, he left his key so I feel safe here, and got a free spring cleaning.
Still sad though, end of a big thing 
Re: Previous topics, people are pricks. If they were happy, they wouldn’t be so mean. So at least they’re being punished, even if they don’t realize it.
Me, I’m having the kind of week where everything I touch goes sideways and takes extra-long. But it beats having real problems.
That said, despite the plentiful amount of pricks in the world, there are still good people who have cooler things to do, but will take the time to be nice or help. Sometimes it’s just hard to find them. Like the kid and his dad roaming the wasteland in The Road, looking for what they call the other “good guys.”
The good guys are out there. And, of course, plenty of them are right here.

Yes. Very odd. He’s just an a-hole, and for some reason wants the dress I fell into a river in and never wore again. More power to him! 
so yesterday I sprained my ankle badly at a park by my house, swelling is down today but I still can’t put my weight on it
which means I’m going to in all likelyhood have to call in sick to work tomorrow (a first time ever for me) which also means I’m going to lose my holiday pay for Memorial Day

The happy: I took my Little Sister to a park today!
The unhappy: Now I have heat exhaustion. Humid hot days are not good for me.
Bad :The Dbag with whom I work let me do all the work and took is sweet time all day.

I’m waiting on pins and needles for an email response re a job interview appt.
Was I too bold, too aggresive? I hate the waiting, hate the second guessing of myself.
Whoa… same thing. I got an email yesterday asking if I was available for an interview this week, I replied “Sure, anytime” and now I’m waiting for some kind of reply… any kind of reply. Meanwhile I’m going through all the scenarios in my mind: did they change their minds? Was the email a mistake? Was it something I said? This application’s been going on for the better part of two months now and it’s such a sweet gig too…
