Lotus Notes is still around? I had no idea.
Be prepared - they NEVER warm anything up.

From what I’ve read about this abomination IBM wanted to give administrators more control over the average email client configuration. Unfortunatley the more tools you give someone the more damage they can do.
THat’s funny, I like it.
Is it just me or would a doctor warming his tool (IYKWIM) before examination be an excellent SNL skit?
I think I used Notes briefly when I was an intern. I came away with the impression that IBM has a bazzilian patents on all kinds of things and, because they have to justify their existence beyond being ammo in lawsuits, insists on using them somewhere. The result is, as you have noticed, that everything’s done differently. There’s probably a anti-competative angle on it, to keep people who first learn on Notes from ever using anything else, but that would anti-anti-compeditor feature these days, don’t ya think.
I knocked over a measuring cup off the dog food container and hit my glasses as I put a big bag of dog food in it. My bridge of my nose hurts and I feel rather dumb.
Ouch. It can happen to anyone, though. I slammed my chin on the edge of my desk as I leaned down to pick up my lunch bag the other day. Yay, depth perception.
My Grandpa died this morning. Although it was indicated over the last two years, he was already said to be clinically dead but he survived the strokes, it’s hard to grasp for me that today he passed away.
Because the funeral will be in Bulgaria on Monday, I can’t be there due to University. So only my mom will drive down there today by bus, cause the Airlines charge exponential.
He was the only Grandpa I had a nearly yearly contact with and have hoped to visit them again next year. But so I saw him last in Summer of 2008.
Rest in Peace, Angel.
I’m so sorry hun
I am so sorry for your loss hugs
My thoughts are with you and your family.
Thank you all. I really appreciate your thots!
I’ve been a bit scattered lately, so I missed it when you posted it, Andi. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Last week, my Mom had hip replacement surgery…which led to a minor heart attack. Spent most of the week in ICU with her. Every day and every hour.
She’s much improved, BP is normal, heart is pumping, breathing is almost normal and she’ll be home tomorrow, all of which im immensely thankful for.
But thats the kind of thing that makes you take stock. Makes you realize what is important. Kinda changes you too.
I’ve said it in another post…but it bears repeating. I’m blessed to know you guys …and Im honored to counted among you. Just wanted to say I am thankful.
Now go give your moms a hug.
Just sayin’
A little one compared to the recent stuff.
I had to come home from work early because I felt so sick, and I want to go to bed, but if I lie down the world spins.
GAH!
Oh, jeez, hon! Glad to hear she’s doing better!
Operator, glad to hear your mom is headed home. Let her know a bunch of geeks from all over the country are sending her best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I’m glad she’s doing better David! She’s lucky to have a son like you to watch over her through this. Hang in there and motivate her to keep moving once she’s home…it will help both her heart and her new hip.
We’re honored to know you too!
Depth perception what is that?
I really do not have any because of an eye muscle problem.
I am sorry.
