So I was working 5 days a week up until this week. Why am I down to 3 days a week? Because I didn’t get paid for 2 weeks from the week before christmas to the week after New Years and my father took the iniative to stick his stupid frakkin face into my business and call and bitch and moan at my aunt who’s the secretary where I work. She evidently told my boss he called her and now I’m down to 3 days a week.
2/5ths of my income is gone because of actions that aren’t my own. Not perfomance, not conduct, my family being retarded.

Please, someone get me off this sinking ship called print media! Let me just tell y’all about the stellar job applicants we’ve had for the position of magazine editor. For the record, they should have just promoted the current assistant editor because he already knows how to do the job and is an excellent writer and interviewer, but that would be logical and the Journal simply doesn’t do logical. Anyhoo, I think they’ve brought in 8 or 9 people to interview, and part of the interview is a proofing test and a writing sample. My supervisor has been having to grade all these, and the most recent one failed to fact-check the names and contact numbers in her story and spelled Mondays as Monday’s (which is a personal pet peeve and makes me want to staple things to someone’s forehead). When she pointed this out to the Features Editor who’s doing the hiring, he told her her expectations were too high. Right, 'cause why should an editor care about accuracy or proper grammar. OMGWTFBBQCROCODILE?!?

We had something similar happen last night in that our finances were affected by the retarded actions of others. The Mrs. went to fill up on gas only to have her ATM card be declined. When she took a look, we were overdrafted by over $100 because her paycheck had not been deposited yet, thanks to HR at her company switching to a new system this week. Thankfully, that was corrected this morning, but we’ll still be eating the overdraft fees thanks to some incompetent beureaucrat at her company not doing her job.

This seems like SUCH as small thing, but… Is it REALLY so important to jack up the prices of Megaman X 3, and Zelda for the Super Nintendo SO much on eBay? They do it for EVERYTHING and put RARE next to it as if to justify it.

It started turning into an “opening the Ark of the Covenant” rant more than anything else, I don’t wanna melt people!
Basically she was saying that because I’m “not really a Woman” I wear skirts and dresses and “girly” things to reinforce to people that I am what I’m “pretending” to be, and that I take a “submissive female role” in my relationships and life because that’s how I perceive Women myself.
All of which is bollocks, and I told her so.

You DO sound like you are very self-aware at this point. Like you have come to terms with any issues in your own mind. I think the issues you may need help dealing with going forward are with people who, like the boyfriend’s parents and this shrink, who don’t “get it.” You can’t control the responses of people like them but you may need guidance in how you respond to their ham-fisted and often hurtful behavior. If I were you, I would focus on finding a shrink who could help you in that manner. I’m sorry that shrink was a DUD.
I’m really sorry that you had to go through that. Finding a shrink is hard, but a good fit is so important. I’ve decided to go back to the one I trust most, but he doesn’t take insurance anymore. So we’ll see how long my money lasts before I have to stop going. Anyway, whether you find a new one or go it alone we’re here for you too.
