On Sunday some worthless piece of slime covered detritus got into my truck and stole my laptop, Xbox 360, and most of the cloths i wear on a regular basis. I had great hopes of buying a flat screen tv in the coming days but now that money must be used to pay my deductible. And to further piss me off I lost all my saved games on my 360. That means when i go about getting Mass Effect 2 i have to play thru Mass Effect 1 all over again to get back up to level 50. I also lost all my favorite shirts.

GRRR!! Starbucks is supposed to have amazing benefits, but I have been left in the lurch. Somehow, my benefits packet didn’t get sent to me until after enrollment.

I figured it was no sweat, because I was under the impression that they had enrollment every quarter. Wrong. Only if you’ve just been hired and recently gained eligibility can you sign up at the quarter mark. Since I missed my shot in October, I’m now told that I have to wait until next year to sign up.

The whole reason I’m at Starbucks is for the insurance, but because they sent me my packet late, I’m SOL. No new glasses for now, unless I can convince someone to shoehorn me in.

I had a great sansa e240, with rockbox. I listened to all of my podcasts on it. The best feature was a scaling fastforward and rewind. The longer you hold down the button the faster the seek becomes. Great feature for a long podcast, to find a specific spot. Also I could store multiple bookmarks for different files.

Now I only have my sansa m240 with none of the coolness. The buttons are overly sensitive, so if I am listening and my pocket gets bumped, It advances to next podcast. It also does not seek as well as the other one, and is about a 1:4 ff ratio, fixed!!!

I tried using my blackberry as a player, but the built in player is teh suck.

I think the Flu that’s been chasing me for the last 2 months is finally hitting, my legs, hips stomach, back and basically everywhere aches like a demon, and no matter how I sit, stand or lay down, it doesn’t hurt. Fiance Yey has the bed to himself tonight, I’m gonna sleep on the little one in the office and turn the electric blanket on in the hopes of the warmth making me feel better.
