Looks like we might be getting at least the remnants of a couple of those up here in DC by this weekend. Gonna be a wet commute for my first day of school (strangely, on a Friday. How productive do they expect me to be?).
Its 6PM
I still have percussion lessons-1hr
Homework-2hrs
Shower/Other menial tasks before going to bed-1 hour
Approximate bed time :10PM
Migraines. Every frakkin’ day lately. Nothing I’m taking helps. I need to see my doc about it. I’m so tired of chronic neck pain and migraine headaches.
Tell your husband to rub your feet. That may or may not help with the migraines. But it will probably make you fall asleep, and then your husband can nab the remote control and watch whatever he wants on TV.
5 o’ Clock Wake-up for studyin’
frakin peice of ****
Me, I can’t make up my mind as to what I want to do with my classes next week (cause I only teach Friday this week, so it’s hand out the syllabus and go home, cause come on, Frdiay?). Just when I have one figured out I think, wait, am I spending too much time on simple stuff that should not just be review but completely redundant to conservatory students (“this is a staff. These are the notes on the staf…”).
I think Friday may be diagnostic quiz day, at least informally (show of hands).
I hate being indecisive.
AND…
I decided to free up my new laptop’s memory by running my iTunes library off the 1TB external hard disc…except that I just had to re-import everything because iTunes won’t do that, even though I tell it to…AND I now have to recreate all of my playlists and folders.
UGH!
You know there is software to move your music files and playlists. Senuti (iTunes spelled backwards) saved me when my hard drive went down but my iPod was still working. I do not know what kind of computer you use but I am sure it works on a Mac I am not sure about the other computers.
Boxy sorry for Armando, yeah i hope your students know what a staff is…even i do:D and ps me and a friend are working on a drumset/percussion duet and we used your Ringo peice as influence/inspiration
No kidding? That’s really flattering. :o I’d love to hear it when you’re done with it.
I may be writing a drum set concerto, of sorts, in the coming months, depending if the money comes through or not.
How come I never get to listen to your music? That is my B & Moan. I really would like to hear your music.
I would, but he left me here with the two kiddos to go to his fantasy football draft. In his defense, I have pretty much had a headache since Saturday, so he’d never get to leave the house if he stayed every time I have a headache.
Life is teh suck not today, but tonight (5:39AM as I’m writing this). I haven’t slept a bit for almost 24h, but that’s not the real problem as I’m actually feeling pretty lively.
Digestion issues are keeping me awake … diarrhea again. I’ve gone from diarrhea to congestion and back in one week. Although I have to admit that this latest case of the runs is kind of self-inflicted. I must have overdosed on ricinus oil last night and the effects seem to be really kicking in now. But there’s an upside: the damn virus has gotten totally flushed out of my system over the past couple of hours, I don’t feel any pain at all anymore. So I’m actually healthy again, I just need to wait until food starts to actually stay in my body.
The plan now is to wait another two hours until 8AM, then go to the grocery store and gets lots of zwieback. That should do the job. At least I hope so, because I gotta be alive and kicking Wednesday night to watch The Dark Knight a second time, this time in the original English. Yay!
In the meantime, I’m keeping myself entertained by checking out Google Chrome, the new browser Google put out just today! And by playing Command & Conquer Red Alert 1, which is available to download FOR FREE on the Westwood website.
What are y’all doing?
It could be worse: you could still have the same problem, but it’s not keeping you awake.
It’s already getting light out. Why the frak do church bells ring at 6AM? And I think I heard the paper boy…
Haven’t you ever seen Fantasia? They scare Chernabog and his undead hordes away from the peaceful town.
I never thought I’d actually say this on this forum, but:
Good Morning!
Man, I gotta say that this has become a bizzarely tight community, because I’m sitting here reading about your battle with diarrhea, and this seems completely normal to me.
What am I doing? Well, its about 1 am and I just finished a work project, but I’m too hyped up to go to sleep. So I will either play some Command & Conquer original version to help me unwind—or I will go downstairs and watch the final Season 2 episode of Heroes via Amazon Unbox. I think I will opt for Heroes since I’ve been at my fraking computer all fraking day.
Good night. And good luck.
Thotfullguy signing off until morning.
And Guten Morgen to you!
Thank you! Only 20 minutes until stores open!
Have fun. Don’t overdo it this time.
Well, that’s it for me. Good night all.
