Let's live at the colony!

So the colony is that big deathstar-thing that we saw, right?

Here’s a wacky idea: What if somehow Adama et al manage to kill all the bad Cylons on the colony ship and then… move aboard! It’s big, lots of fuel, plenty of space for the whole fleet to land and move in.

Just kidding. But wouldn’t that be cool?

Well it would be an end. And Kara could lead them there. Though I think Racetrack will be leading them there. And it would give them food, fuel and saftey i=until they found a place to live with sunshine and grass.

Sounds too happy for BSG… I’m guessing Adama’s probably gonna ram Galactica down the Colony’s throat… but I hope not, cause that would be repetitive (like with Pegasus).

I’ll be waiting for the sequel series BattleStar Galatica 2010. I wonder how they will reimagine the flying motorcycles.

Flying Segways.

I wonder if the FF will lure or deceive Cavil with the promise of teaching resurrection tech. All the skinjobs can’t agree with Cavil since, ultimately, the FF are their only salvation short of beginning to breed. If they can only breed with humans then they’ll know that Cavil isn’t interested continuing their salvation and future.

I don’t think you’ll have to worry. Did you see how that thing dwarfed a basestar? Galactica itself isn’t going to scrape that thing, even with nukes (we know even Galactica can take a nuke, though much inferior explosions do worse damage).

And that Colony better not have some hidden superweak spot that when hit goes boom a la the Deathstar. I’ll spit on the screen!

I do believe, however, Sam is going to play a part in getting them to the colony, then somehow Galactica will be destroyed, but it won’t take out the colony in the process.

Ultimately all space shows are naval dramas without an ocean, so ships ramming each other isn’t something I hate terribly; I think it’s awesome and would be happy to see that metal crunch again.

I hope they put some aluminum foil or something over the thermal exhaust port as well, Radio Picon.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I thought my Dark Lord of the Sith could protect a thermal exhaust port that’s only two meters wide!”
If ya’ll haven’t seen the Robot Chicken where Vadar collect calls the Emperor, you gotta.

I’m not sure they can destroy the colony. Obviously any attempt will require the rebel cylons to infiltrate. With 2 episodes left it would seem that the bulk of all skinjobs and humanity will die in the process. Who will be left behind will depend on how much influence the FF have over Cavil’s cylons. The raider couldn’t fire on Sam so maybe their first line of offense will be to take the machines out of the equation with the FF. In fact maybe that’s why we were shown an old raider in that the early cylons (colonies early) regard them as gods. They were already creating flesh and bone cylons (hybrids), but who directed them into making raiders hybrid machines.
