Let the teasing begin...

Collider.com has the teaser poster for the Final Season:

whispers I see dead people. No, seriously, it looks like someone learned how to do a clipping path in Photoshop and then just cut out pictures of all the cast members ever from different season promo pics. Lame. But the symbols are kinda’ cool.

This doesn’t look terribly different from what they showed at Comic-con. It’s already been dissected to death, other than the symbols in the words “The Final Season.”

I ran across something cool on the ODI

Kind of makes me want to start watching again. Honestly don’t know how anyone made it past season 2 of this show.

Two words: Sayid. Desmond.

Season three was uneven, I’ll admit, and the writer’s strike didn’t help. But once you got past all the Jack/Kate/Sawyer craaaaap, the show got back on track and picked up momentum (mostly due to Michael Emerson). Season four was probably my favorite so far, and it just keeps getting better now that Darlton have a definite destination.

This fanmade trailer is frakin’ brilliant!!!

Did you get goosebumps as well?

Wow. I seriously have a lump in my throat. I don’t usually gush over fanmade stuff, but with a couple nips and tucks, ABC needs to frakking buy that trailer to promo the next season.

Gorgeous. Thanks, Andiminga.

Yes I did. I can’t wait for groundhog day.

You’re welcome.

I stumbled on it on Nikki Staffords blog who wrote great Companion books about the 5 seasons of Lost so far.

sigh I guess its the lost time of the year again; a show that has pulled more sucker punches and cheap tricks than well cheap trick… but somehow i just know i’ll be watching like an abused spouse or a heroine addict or some other analogy that reflects poorly on me…

Wow! Much better than anything ABC’s put out yet. And totally non-spoilery to boot!

Oh and speaking of teasing, they’ve published a “Last Supper” pic, a la BSG. Let the speculation as to the identity of the fifth Cylon begin!

Did anyone catch this Spanish LOST trailer in The Watcher’s blog? Why do we not have anything this cool in America?!

I’m still wondering what role Illana plays since we saw like nothing of her in Season 5 and she’s still prominently on this Lost Supper picture.

US network un-creativeness.

After LOST had a panel at the TCA today, here are the bits that we got. Since some might see them as spoilers, I’ll use the spoiler tag tags. You all know Team Darlton, until the premiere, and even beyond they won’t spoil anything important, only giving us some clues as to what to expect.
Even I as a spoilerphobic, would say, only people who don’t wanna see the names of two actors returning, should stay away from this:
-You can add Harold Perrineau (Michael) and Cynthia Watros (Libby) to the long list of former Lost stars returning for the final season. But as Cuse and Lindelof are constant deceivers, details were hazy. Cuse claimed all our unanswered Libby questions would be solved, while Lindelof said that was completely untrue. All we know for sure is that one of them is a liar.

-The final season will pick up right where season 5 ended. Since it ended with an exploding bomb, that could be the least helpful spoiler of all time.

-Cuse and Lindelof did say something rather interesting, that the best preparation would be rewatching the first season. Based solely on that, it definitely seems like we’re heading to a “back to the beginning” style final season.

-Emilie de Ravin claims she had to read the season 6 premiere script three times before fully understanding what happens. So either she was a bit rusty on Lost scripts, or this is going to be a complex mental battle.

-In one of those moments where someone might accidentally reveal something, there was an interesting moment when Terry O’Quinn was explaining that he didn’t know that he wasn’t really Locke during last season. Lindelof claimed it was easier not to tell him than to explain that “Thousands and thousands of years ago…” In other words, we now have some sort of time frame context for Jacob and his enemy, and it’s a really long time ago.
I’m very happy to see her returning again and am intrigued why, how and in what capacity.

Regarding the first part of what’s in the spoiler tag:
The only unanswered question I have with regards to Libbie is what she was doing at the same mental hospital as Hurley. It would have been cool to get more of her backstory and/or have a Libbie-centric episode, but that’s not a huge deal to me.
As far as I have heard from Damon and Carlton,
she was only in Santa Rosa because she had a break-down after her husband died.
You can hear it in this interview :): http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s10/lost/tubetalk/a163300/exclusive-team-darlton-talk-lost.html

have found a great timeline, which tries to depict all the flashes that occurred in season 5.
that really brings a bit of order in all that craziness.

Another great fan-made trailer I found for S6. Enjoy!!
This one is a bit more Locke-centric.

Interesting article about Lost in yesterday’s Boston Globe Sunday paper:

Lost = implausibility porn, according to the article.
